As the Sports Editor for the Wyoming County Press Examiner, I managed the sports department of a community newspaper, writing and editing stories as well as providing sports photography.

I later helped found and served as Editor for the online publication Electric City Renaissance. Electric City Renaissance offered a single source for the events, people and perspectives that make up the Greater Scranton area.

At Electric City Renaissance, I developed a series of articles that explored the lives and legacies of the artists featured on the Piazza dell’Arte at Courthouse Square, Scranton. Artists included:
